A penalty fee of $3.00 will be charged for all pages of a document if any pages are NOT 8½ X 11.

All individual/employee paraprofessional applicants must include 2 passport photos along with the bond, application, and payment.

The Registration of a process server is required when any person makes more than 10 services of process within California during one calendar year. The registrant must file the certificate of registration with the County Clerk, along with a bond of $2000 executed by an admitted surety insurer and a completed REQUEST FOR LIVE SCAN SERVICE form. The County Clerk then forwards the bond to the County Recorder for recording.

  • Personal, Company or Bank Check, preprinted with account holder's name and address - payable to: Alameda County Clerk Recorder. Out of country payments must be in U.S. dollars.
  • Credit cards (Master Card or Visa) are ONLY accepted for online copy request of Birth, Death, Marriage Certificates, Fictitious Business Name Statements, and Official Public Records.
